This picture is heart breaking. MJ was on Tour, and this is when he was first told about the first child abuse allegations. He was asked if he was okay to go on stage. He insisted, saying he didn’t want to let his fans down. When he took off his glasses this is what was seen.

“His harmonies opened the closed doors of racism, his melodies softened the hearts of mankind; he played the high and low notes of life, and moon-walked across the measures of childlike trust. Sometimes there was dissonance in the demonstration of his music, but show me a song in everyone’s life that does not have discordant notes. As we go forth with our storytelling, let us remember, “everyone has a story, even you!” — http://smithmamie.com/?p=463

Michael Jackson Bad - NO! He babysat my kids.
“Michael Jackson, a sweet gentle twelve-year-old boy, was my son’s babysitter before he became the Michael Jackson Moonwalker. This memory came back vividly last night as news of his death was telecast all over the world. This was in the summer of 1972 and my son’s ranged from ages 3 to 8. We were spending our last trip together as a family at the Playboy Club in Miami, which I thought was a crazy place to go with 3 young children. My husband had announced he wanted a divorce because he was feeling crushed by the weight of a family of four, mortgage payments, a job he hated. It was hard to concentrate on the boys because I was weepy and shaky for most of that visit. My boys were fascinated by the Playboy bunnies with their fluffy tails. We were using the elevator going from our room to the pool or the dining room, I was surprised to see a young black boy acting as the elevator operator. In a very grown up way he asked each passenger “What floor please”? I was curious why he chose this seemingly boring task and I asked him why, smiling shyly he replied ”Something to do I guess”. He was the only other child besides mine that I saw at the club. “Why are you staying here?” I asked. “My brothers and I are performing here,” he answered. On one of our elevator trips he asked shyly.”Would you like me to take the boys to the kiddy pool?” I would be happy to.” So for the next two days Michel Jackson watched my kids at the kiddy pool while my husband and I sat at the edge of the adult pool ending our marriage. When I glanced at Michael with the boys he showed infinite patience with a sometimes squabbling six and eight year old and countless times pickiing up my three year old who was always falling down in the water. Michael was trying to show them how to swim although I was not sure that he himself knew how. I do remember him laughing and having a wonderful time, a child playing with other younger children, away from the limelight. Knowing his background that time must have been one of the few Michael had as a child that he was able to enjoy the company of other children without the spot light trained on his every move.We left at the end of two days. One of my sons is now a professor and an award winning author, one a career military officer and the then three year old now owns a bar in Saigon and operates two web sites. They have only foggy memories of those 2 days. The marriage ended I went on to a twenty-five year career in television news and as a talk show host and producer for both ABC and CBS affiliates in Orlando. I interviewed more than eight hundred people in my career but one of the most moving glimpses into the life of a celebrity was a sweet lonely twelve year old who spoke in a voice barely louder than a whisper, but someone who clearly loved being with children and for a few hours was himself a child.”

spiritualinspiration:

When unexpected things happen—trials, difficulty or tragedy—the enemy sends a whirlwind of fear to try to shake our faith and steal our focus. His goal is to take our eyes off of God and cause us to feel overwhelmed by circumstances. But if we will choose to stay focused on the love of God, if we choose to meditate on His goodness, the truth will set us free from fear and ground our hearts in confidence.
Today, know that God loves you perfectly. He is a good God. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that His plans for us are for good. He has thoughts of peace, not for evil. He wants to give you a future and hope. Anytime thoughts of fear come, replace them with words of love. Just declare, “Thank You, God, for loving me. Thank You for leading me into peace. Thank You for hope for my future.” As you meditate on His love and goodness, you’ll feel faith rise up in your heart. You’ll feel hope, you’ll feel strength, and you’ll feel empowered to move forward in the good path He has prepared for you.

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer…for I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33, AMP)
When trials and challenges come, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or discouraged. You may feel lost or uncertain about the future. That’s when we need to turn our hearts and minds to God because He has promised that no matter what we face, we can have His perfect peace. We can feel His perfect love. We can have confidence because He has already overcome the world.
The key is that we have to keep an eternal perspective. We have to know that the trials that come our way are only temporary. We may experience tragedy or loss in this life, but with God on our side, we have the ultimate victory in eternity. We may have seasons of grief or sadness here on earth, but He is our comforter, and in the end, He will wipe away every tear from our eyes.
Remember, when difficulties arise, focus on the fact that you have the ultimate victory. Don’t let fear paralyze you; instead, put your faith and hope in God. Those things that the enemy meant for evil, God will turn around for your good. He’ll lead you out stronger, wiser and more alive than ever before.
A Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your perfect peace. Even when things don’t make sense, I choose to trust You. Even when I don’t feel victorious, I know that with You, I am always an overcomer. I choose to put my faith and hope in You today knowing that I will never be disappointed in Jesus’ name. Amen.

George Carlin on MJ

“Ladies and Gentlemen, comedians of all ages, has anyone accused you of kicking a dead horse? This Michael Jackson stuff is really getting old. So Mike decided he wanted to live dangerously by helping kids. That’s no reason to call him a wacko. Then the worst part is he gets stalked for everything he does. Headlines all over read “W**** J**** Suicide Try” and other disgusting things that are so cruel and sick even to the most degenerate mind. One comedian, one joke, that’s all and then that person can go and get hated for the rest of his life, but I’m not f*****g with Michael Jackson fans. I’m not that dumb. Mike’s sweet, his fans are vicious. Attack him, you’re already considered dead.”

He also said something along the line of how he didn’t care if MJ freaked off with little boys or not.(Obviously he was being facetious) “Fuck those kids and fuck their greedy parents too. Michael is the greatest bar none. Throw him(MJ) a bunch of kids and just let him dance.”
